Featuring
Let’s have the best first! The tree that will be standing tall before the City hall will be beautiful and energy efficient 48-foot White Fir, all the way from Grants Pass, Oregon! (make sure you don’t snap your neck while trying to look at the star!)
This beautiful tree will be adorned with 4,000 ornaments, and it will be just shy of 100,000 LED lights! I’m sure you are already waiting for the count-down when the tree will be lit along with the timed fireworks!
(yes, I know the best is for the last, but hey didn’t wanna waste your time 😇. And also because low-key, I couldn’t contain it in myself and couldn’t wait to share it with y’all 😛 haha)
Well, I didn’t keep the best for the last but the event will surely have the best for last. But before the tree lighting, there’ll different live performances to get you into that Holiday mood! You’ll totally love it! You can dance along with your family and friends where you’ll be seated.
There will be beautiful performances by Shepherd School of Music Mariachi Luna Llena, KIPP Sharp Singers, Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts theatre department, Playhouse 1960, Carver/Aldine High School Dance Company, Dance of Asian America, and Houston Contemporary Dance Company. That’s a mouthful! And they will surely fill your hearts full with joy as Handel’s Messiah sings the “Hallelujah Chorus” that would be so perfectly timed with the fireworks and the lighting of the tree! So keep your eyes and ears open to capture everything on the canvas of your heart and make it your best holiday kick off event yet!
