What Makes Sugar Land Holiday Lights 2024 Special?

The Holiday Lights is packed with different fun events and activities ever since it started in November of 2024.

But the one thing that makes 2024 Sugar Land Holiday Lights special is the addition of the ice skating rink! (It will be a synthetic ice rink that means no real ice.)

In order to have some fun on the ice rink just created for you, make sure to add the ice skating add-on, while purchasing your tickets as it won’t be available on general admission tickets.

The skating shoe from sizes 11 to 15 will be provided for you to skate along with other skating aids. Although it will be made available on a first come, first serve basis.

Along with the ice rink, this year’s Sugar Land Holiday Lights, will be featuring nique themed areas all over the field! More on that below!

Other Exciting Highlights – Make Sure To Look Out For Them

40ft Christmas Tree

Right at the center of the Constellation field, you will find a huge 40ft tall Christmass tree, covered in lights. These lights also create an illusion of animation on the Christmas tree! It’s truly beautiful! (unfortunately you cannot go real close to it)

The themed area – Texas Town and the Old Man Winter is the place to get the best pics of the Christmas tree

As soon as you enter the constellation field, your eyes won’t miss the huge light structures of various archictectural wonders of the world, all adorned in light.

Inter-active Light Structures

Y’all will find 3 inter-active light structures including what can be called a Spirit tree.

When you press the button, it appears if the light generated as a result of pressing button enters the tree, rejuvenating it! Kid’s love it!

Another is what I call Stepping stones, when you step on it, it lights up! Y’all will find it when y’all turn left of the entrance and follow the holiday path.

[Y’all will find this in the inter-active display zone region the to left of the entrance. Just follow the holiday path until you see the sign saying “Welcome to the Interactive Display zone”]

Last one is what y’all can call – lighting up the baseball guy! (yeah I’m not very good at naming things lol but it’s called the interactive coloring station on the field)

When you press a certain button, it lights up certain part of the structure. Kids will love it!
